Bears for Traumatized Children
This project provides huggable teddy bears to Pomerado Hospital's Emergency Rooms, Victims of Violence and Sexual Abuse Counseling Centers, and Mental Health Services as well as north county fire stations, the Escondido Police Department and Children's Hospital. The bears are delivered to children who are lost, abused or suffering other trauma. In the last two years, over 3,000 bears have been given to children.
