Assisteens ®
auxiliary gives teenagers the opportunity to grow in leadership roles while performing community service activities. Membership is open to all students who attend inland north county high schools in the ninth through twelfth grades.
These enterprising and dedicated teens raise funds to support the following community service projects:

Bike Helmets for Kids
- In 2005, one hundred fifty bicycle helmets were donated to Poway and Escondido police departments and to the San Pasqual Academy - a school for foster teens. The helmets are given to children who are unable to buy their own.

Holiday Gift Boxes Gift Boxes
- December 2004, patients at the Palomar Medical Center's Psychiatric Outpatient Program received holiday gift boxes filled and wrapped by members of Assisteens.

School Tools
- Assisteens assemble packets of school supplies for Operation School Bell®, a service project of Assistance League of Inland North County that provides new school clothing and school supplies to children in need.

Outreach Auxiliary
members are women who want to serve the community while continuing to work or meet family commitments. Since its beginning in 1994, Outreach members have conducted several projects that meet the needs of many senior residents of north county:

Operation Shoe Box
provides holiday cheer in the form of brightly wrapped shoeboxes filled with snacks, sundries and other goodies to seniors in need.

Outreach
provides help to seniors needing financial assistance in order to subscribe to the Lifeline Personal Response Service - a service that supports a senior's desire for independent living by providing a Personal Help Button connected directly with the Lifeline Personal Response Center.

|
Outreach members
conduct craft workshops which provide social interaction and fun for women and their children living in sheltered housing and provide goody bags that are distributed to the homeless.
